President’s Message

Thank you for choosing East Mississippi Community College for your educational journey; welcome to the Lion family!  Since 1927, EMCC has provided educational services to students.  My goal, as President, is to ensure that each and every student that chooses EMCC is provided ample opportunities to find success. 

This college catalog will serve as an important reference and guidebook for your journey.  EMCC’s dedicated faculty and staff are here to assist you on your mission. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to a recruiter, an advisor, faculty members or the student services office. 

I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the information within this catalog.  Our goal is to help you choose the proper coursework that will help you graduate in a timely manner.   

College is a time for discovery and transformational growth, and a place where students will find a path for lifelong success.  EMCC provides a variety of opportunities for student enrichment and personal growth.  Please consider joining a club or organization, and participating in campus events while at EMCC.  This is a wonderful way to network , make friends,  and join in with others that are on a similar journey.
