This elective clinical course provides the student with an opportunity to enhance previously learned skills under the supervision of an experienced nurse preceptor in the healthcare setting. Under the guidance of the preceptor, the student will have the opportunity to apply previously learned knowledge and skills in providing direct care for clients across the lifespan. The student will receive monetary compensation from the clinical agency for this externship.
